Tutoring Terms and Conditions

This document outlines important information regarding session fees, cancellation policies, health and safety, and service expectations.

Fees and Payment
Sessions are charged at £38 for one hour or £21 for 30 minutes.
Fees include lesson planning, delivery, necessary learning resources, access to an individual resource folder, and participation in a reward system with prizes.
Payment is made monthly via invoice and must be completed via bank transfer within 5 working days of receipt.
Late payments may result in a temporary suspension of tutoring services.

Cancellation Policy
Notice of cancellation must be provided by the parent or guardian no later than 11:00 am on the day of the scheduled session.
Missed sessions without appropriate notice will be charged at the regular session rate.
The tutor reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a session with reasonable notice.

Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with at least one week’s notice.
Immediate termination may occur in the event of non-payment, disruptive behaviour, or abusive conduct.

Health and Safety
Parents or guardians are required to inform the tutor of any relevant health conditions, medical needs, or allergies the student may have.
If the student has been unwell within 24 hours prior to a session, the tutor should be informed — rescheduling may be necessary.

Confidentiality
All information shared during sessions will be treated as confidential by both parties.

Liability
While all reasonable care is taken during tutoring sessions, the tutor cannot be held liable for any injuries, losses, or damages that may occur.
Tuition with Claire & Co maintains appropriate insurance for home tutoring services.
